Made from Pyrovatex® flame This is the world’s premier fabric flame retardant cotton developed inhibitor. The flame retardant finish is by Ciba Geigy® guaranteed for the life of the garment.
Cotton body and collar The body of the jacket is lightweight and cool, of jacket yet heat resistant, making it perfect for hot working conditions.
Leather sleeves These provide increased protection from welding spatter.
Kevlar® stitched Kevlar® thread (which is heat resistant) is used for its increased strength and durability, increasing the life of the jacket.
Velcro® fastenings Velcro® makes the jacket easy to put on and remove – perfect for busy work environments.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
To maximise the life of the PyroMate Welding Jacket:
Do not use soap-based washing powders, do not acid rinse to clean.
Open steam at ironing or pressing should be avoided.
Drying should be carried out at low temperatures, over-drying should be avoided.
Irrespective of the end use the textile has to be washed at least once a year to avoid
heavy soiling and to maintain the flame retardant properties.
The flame retardant effect is retained for the normal life cycle of the textile provided
that the care instructions are taken into consideration.
